Not super crazy about the part that suggests Tom Green is partially responsible for The Joe Rogan Experience, but as someone who was a bit too young to appreciate him in his heyday, this is a good primer for his whole career.
Wanted to like this more than I did, but it’s hard to deny how great certain moments are. The John Williams score is among his best, and Spielberg really taps into some interesting stuff that he would go on to perfect in his later work. It just feels a bit stretched out for my taste, and that some of its edges are a bit sanded down. Still pretty good overall though, and I can definitely see why some have reclaimed it in recent years.
