    tinā is one of those lovingly made, tender movies that only works if you simply let it wash over you. there are two plotlines dropped in the middle part of the film that gave me pause, but it didn’t matter because the acting and emotional climax during the big sing was EVERYTHING. cannot remember an indie movie made recently that ends with one of the most pure and heartfelt scenes as this did!
