Poor Things 2023
This was an experience. Hated it at first thinking it was some weird sexual exploitation of a disabled person, but by the end I enjoyed it. Very uncomfortable to watch her be taken advantage of, but truly love her steadfastness to herself and her goals. Set design 1000/10 and costumes also amazing. A deeply unsettling watch for the first half, a testament to Emma’s ability to bring such a unique character to life.
