Not entirely sure what the point/ message of this film was. Everything is temporary and transient and inevitably ends; he’s only a sub this school “dies” the fall from grace the suicide the endless cycle? You try and do good but it backfires? The human condition and the outside of every human that we don’t see but they carry with them with no escape or respite? Empathy? Hope and the possibility for good in the clusterfuck endless suffering? These children…

DO NOT WATCH TRAILERS OR READ SYNOPSIS. Every twist hits so much harder.
Very very good movie. I normally hate opening narrations but by the end u realise why it was brilliant; the recontextualizing of every line. Also jack quad’s character’s descent (or more so reveal) from just a bit of a dicky bf into an emotionally abusive horrible person was greatly done.
Obviously the whole thing was analagous to emotionally abusive boyfriends but apart from some lines it was well done and not on the nose.
Also surprisingly funny movie. But with some truly powerful, haunting, horrifying movie. And a fantastic final scene.
