Romantic, tragic, and heartbreaking...this might be Carax's best film, and his least seen or talked about. Despite being so hopeless and nihilistic, there are moments of joy to be found with these characters and you feel the romantic connection between each of them. They *live* for each other. Unfortunately, love, hopes, and dreams is not enough. This is a tale of what happens when you decide to live outside of society and their expectations.

The Power of the Dog 2021
I really have no words. Some of the most stunning cinematography I have seen this year, coupled with Greenwood's haunting and ever present score, and Cumberbatch's most chilling and enthralling performance.
