This film gives me comfort. Frances feeling stuck while everyone around her is moving forward—so real. Not having life figured out in her late twenties? Completely relatable—though I’m still in my early/mid twenties. The uncertainty, the way she pleases people just so they won’t pity her—too real. Every time I feel lost, I will rewatch this piece of art to remind myself that it’s okay. Frances, you are totally datable.
