Sometimes very theatrical, sometimes just simple and entertaining, and I was here for it. The plot itself and the duo consisting of Dr. Schultz and Django are entertaining and deliver whatever's necessary to keep you involved all along, never a dull or boring moment. This movie made me travel in time thanks to its somehow slow pace and adapted cinematography, and I understand now why it's once of the must-watch classics. What marked me the most was the ending scene, it was a much deserved climax that satisfies the viewer, not because it's a happy ending, rather because it's well thought of and feels right.
I have to say I watched this movie because of its reputation and Keanu Reeves. It is a typical story of a one-man army who's unbreakable because of deep hidden demons. What I liked was the story and idea itself even though it was only centered on the vendetta. Despite being uneventful, it's not boring and keeps you entertained. Cinematography-wise, I feel like we could have gotten much more, especially in fighting scenes. I would say it is quite overrated, but remains a good watch overall.
