theory: nolan made the first draft of this script, going for a similar vibe of “inception.” while writing this script he has a “eureka” moment that a movie about oppenheimer would go hard. he then moves forward with making this movie based off his first and only draft of this screenplay so he can focus his energy on oppenheimer.
