Ruffalo's character would've hit different if it didn't serve as a constant reminder that we are being governed by an absolute shithead buffoon. Instead of hitting for laughs, it just bummed me out. Good thing Steven Yeun brought his character from Beef along for the ride, and the Creepers were adorable.
Saw this at the Vista (if you live in LA, you know) and it was an A+ experience. Nothing better than cackling alongside LA's best neighborhood movie dorks and random A-list actors to an absolutely hilarious, gory, made-with-love movie. A perfect Friday night movie. I loved it so much.

For as intense and action-packed as the previews show us, it is a *funny* movie with incredible set pieces, and even more incredible action. I loved it.
