  Paddington in Peru 2024

  Had its moments but really a bit too goofy and nonsensical to get to me like the other two movies. 
  Paddington is so goddamn cute though. I still really liked seeing his little antics. 
  Missed Sally Hawkins and also too many shots of spiders for my liking. 

  Olivia Colman was so good though. Love her!! Basically an inversion of her role in Wonka. 
  Speaking of, this just made me want to rewatch Wonka more than anything.

  Conclave 2024

  Extremely my shit. 
  The second I saw cardinals smoking and vaping, I was like I’m in. 
  Actually a thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. Completely get why it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I found it to be very engrossing and captivating. 
  Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci and John Lithgow all give some of their best performances. A lot of staring into nothingness as they consider what they have done and what they choose to become. 
  This rules.

  Stopped it halfway through for three reasons:
  1. Mathieu Kassovitz thought he was probably so smart and clever when he made the choice of making the black character rich while the white guy was poor
  2. I don’t care for a Spike Lee rip-off
  3. The central premise doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t make sense that the girl would toy around with those two guys when she is PREGNANT.
