  blurring lines in homo-erotic friendships is such a painful experience. the unrequitedness of their love holds more significance after the film makes us understand that what they had was rather (otherworldly) intimate; they were already “one person” until the other confessed their love, blooming a conflict in their interests and friendship.

  the first film i’ve ever seen to accurately depict what being a writer is like. writer’s envy exists and it is a disease. we’re always left so insatiable only for that to eventually turn in to inordinate manic episodes.
