  Kid Murph delivering the line “Stay” cooks me every time.

  I was in the centre front row for a Melbourne IMAX 1570mm screening. I would do it again in a second. Seeing this for the first time since a couple watches of 2001 gives some new perspective on it as well. The more Nolan I watch though the more glaringly obvious his exposition becomes.

  Experiencing this classic for the first time during its 35 year anniversary screening of the 4K remaster on the biggest screen in the southern hemisphere was definitely the right choice. 

  It holds up and even through I knew most of the story beats as they’re kind of unavoidable with how much homage and parody has been cast its way, there were still a few surprises for me along the way that really kept me glued to the screen. Yeah it’s…
