This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Well-acted and slick with awesome visuals and aesthetic. But two things brought it down for me:
First, I tend not to like movies/ shows where all main characters are detestable, which was the case here. I found myself rooting more for Angier because the Bordens are such dicks, but he has basically no redeeming qualities himself.

It was good but seems pretty overrated to me.
Pros:
- Pulled no punches in depicting the prison system to be as abhorrent as it really is
- Well acted
- I appreciated the feel good ending

Butt Boy 2019
I generally think that dumb humor is fun and that sticking to a bit is commendable. But the way that Butt Boy approaches these two concepts- by taking the dumbest premise imaginable (a man getting addicted to sticking objects and entire human beings up his ass) and acting as if it is a real movie for 100 minutes straight- was a terrible combination.
