First of all, heavenly soundtracks. It pulls you in the world and you just feel the music as someone put a spell on you. Episode 8 to episode 16 was the best stretch of the show to me. Most of the characters are realistically written and easy to empathize. However, some characters were underused. Ryouta Watari had no backstory, despite being one of the main characters. Kaori did him wrong at the end. Also ignoring the abuse from Kousei's mother and forcing him to play the piano, even though he was traumatized, was fucked up.
Overall it's a 7/10 for me.Translated from by -
