  Brando and Leigh — two of the best acting performances EVER. Haven’t seen it since I was a kid and was blown away. Wife and daughter going to see Paul Mescal in this play next week. I doubt that Mescal can come anywhere close to Brando. Mesmerizing

  Thanks random Criterion Channel watch! Very much along the same lines as other later Sean Baker films I’ve seen: very naturalist acting, sex worker subplot, lots of great seedy atmosphere. Dree Hemingway is great. Amazing dog.

  So overrated and just terrible. Bad writing and worse acting. Eisenberg plays the exact same neurotic character he always plays and Kulkin is just Roman Roy with no money. So boring it made 90 minutes feel like 90 hours. How the hell did it get such glowing reviews? Mystified.
