Not sure exactly when during Covid I watched this, but it stuck out to me as a super innovative gritty action classic, with an amazing soundtrack. The ice cream van scene is remarkable.

Anora 2024
Beautifully done- deftly moved between wacky and funny and devastating. Mikey Madison was exceptional; Anora felt lived-in and incredibly relatable. I also thought the oligarch son was excellent- it was so easy to see how you could get caught in his lavish orbit and buy into a false promise.
