Ryan Gosling is Canadian and has a bad Southern accent in this for basically no reason. Rosamund Pike is British but is doing a Californian accent. Anthony Hopkins is doing his usual thing. Fiona Shaw is Irish and is playing an LA judge but using her regular Irish accent. What is going on here?

Before Sunset 2004
Marginally better than the first movie, though at the same time I miss the first one's more playful interaction with the surrounding environment. The characters are a little more interesting this time around, but at the end of the day I still loathe Delpy's character and performance. She delivers clunker after clunker, like "An imperialist country can use that kind of thinking to justify their economic greed." Ugh, shut up!
