The French Dispatch 2021
a fan of wes anderson's previous works i went in to this film believing he couldnt possibly top his built aesthetic from grand budapest. i was wrong. this film is a bombardment on the senses, in a way that left me feeling nauseous. i could barely muster the energy to watch it but a stellar cast and the usual anderson eye candy kept me mostly enthralled throughout the run time despite the dragging, and at times, almost nonsensical story

I watched Hereditary believing that as Ari Asters first film it could be in no way worse than Midsommar. To berate me with this fatal mistake my body developed severe anxiety for months. Good movie but one I will never watch again :)
