laughed a LOT, the actors have great chemistry, idk man when the car hit the cow I just couldn't stop laughing for ten mins straight

wonderful cast, esp the doggie! I also enjoyed watching certain moments take on heightened meaning when they repeat with longer context around them later on in the film, or vice verse when tidbits from an earlier flashback come back, and you realise what that moment meant to Oliver. it's marvelous technique, the movie was really touching

I felt like this film’ dialogue and setup made a lot of gestures toward being very heartwarming but it was only sort of heartwarming, but I also enjoyed watching all the actors just sort of hang out and interact with each other. nice

I love that the aliens at the end do away with their boss, and that all the Looney Tunes are in some sort of union. surprising labour lens in this movie!

I cannot believe that the Lego Batman movie is now my most rewatched movie. a great blend of funny and tongue-in-cheek and sentimental 🥹

the romance is truly ?!?‽!‽ but jamie lee curtis is so funny, the physical comedy is excellent!

was buzzed on some wine and I zoned in and out of watching this as I worked on a deadline in my hotel room at a conference I only half wanted to be at. ac temp in the room was solid, anne hathaway was charismatic as ever, I teared up a bit when the queen and joe got together, and I did like 40% of the work I was supposed to do. the villain is cartoon-ish, I enjoyed watching him immensely. great evening! probably the best way to watch this movie—with some nonzero amount of ennui?

I really liked that wes anderson’s neat, clean cut machine gets a lil janky here. in terms of the shotmaking mainly I guess, because the writing is still v clean. but too much stylistic precision in his stuff has felt boring and this movie did not feel like that to me. the cast is great and I really enjoyed them all traipsing around and bickering and fighting! I hope this is a sign that future movies will have more room for messy feelings and general tomfoolery. tomfoolery rocks!

gave me flashbacks to playing FIFA Street 2 on my PS2, mashing several buttons and then Ronaldinho’s like 10ft in the air and the ball is on fire streaking past the goalie or something. in a great way!!!! I miss FIFA Street 2!!!

last watched this in high school when I lived at home I think, and this is still so cool. bruce lee is so cool. he’s quiet, he observes and then he strikes, it’s great to watch. love when he gets han in a headlock and reverse kicks him on his face. the hall with the mirrors is choreographed and shot beautifully too, and it really is great characterisation too, that the fight is as much mental as physical. oh man what a great movie!
