Better Man 2024
Got to the screening about 10 minutes late because it turny out I had actually gone into the wrong movie. Actually wanted to see a different film in a different cinema.
Did not understand why he was an ape and was wondering whether or not that was explained during the first bit of the film that I had missed.
The people around me were absolutely loving the jarring apey performance and I felt out of place.
Have they not learned from Cats?

Apart from the dialogues, this is an insanely thrilling movie. Its brutality and the stark contrast to the main character's humanity give it a unique feel.
The most touching scene is the one where the main character gets the chance to seek revenge on the Ottomans but decides not to.
