  Great courtroom drama with fantastic performances from the names in the cast, particularly Toni Collette and Nicholas Hoult, however let down by hammy, hallmarky acting by the other jurors in the deliberation scenes and dialogue that often felt inauthentic and cheap.

  I felt myself deliberating between a 3.5 and 4 but feel the ending offers enough moral fat to chew on to make up for any shortcomings.

  Clint Eastwood can very clearly still make a movie at 94!

  This film is a stage-play brought to life.

  When the rain falls it feels heavy and artificial. The shot of the street is used multiple times as a way to set the scene as a bridge between the two main locales, the chinese restaurant and the office, and helps to contain the everyone to this little world.
