Good time, not spectacular but entertaining enough. Two nepo babies face off and Ned is there too.

After the coen brothers’ first three films, this definitely marks a stylistic turning point. It takes on a very surreal and bizarre tone at times, something toyed with before but embraced here. At times it feels like it might turn into a psychological horror film ala 1408.

The cast is great with Goodman and Lerner especially standing out. Cinematography and set design are nice as well and I dug the period setting and old Hollywood feel.

Not sure where I would rank this among the other Coen films, needs some time to sink in, but it was a fun trip.

One my all timers and a perfect pick for the Fourth of July. One of the greatest of the 70s, of Spielberg’s filmography, of genre film history. Undeniably the all time best shark movie (runner up must be Deep Blue Sea). Also one of the best horror films, can’t change my mind on that one. Any other killer animal movie is instantly considered horror so this should qualify.

Keanu’s accent, yeah yeah. Idc, love this movie. Love the colors, effects, visuals, music, atmosphere and most of the other actors. Had to give it a rewatch after finishing the novel yesterday. Not the most accurate adaptation but there’s so many out there already and this is far from the most inaccurate, let alone worst. Haven’t seen every adaptation of Dracula but this is my personal favorite.
