to think big budget sci fi movies used to have physical props in them... and sets.........
i knew exactly how it ends going in and thought i was prepared but i was not! the kills are so fun up until that point and i wanted so badly for it to be the fun Carrie-level revenge flick some people tout it as, but Angela is robbed of having the last word in her own story at the very last second and it fucking sucks!

yeah it was definitely the right decision to watch this crossfaded and by candlelight. I'm already such a fan of Russell's approach to adapting historical events, and when I saw "music composed by Thomas Dolby" I knew I was in for something particularly special... such a delicious mix of 80s camp and period style. every scene was visually either lovely or horrific, every other lineβ¦
