Both ridiculous and entertaining but at over 2.5 hours it's diminishing returns made the last third a chore to get through. However, the 'Criticisms of the Da Vinci Cide' Wikipedia page is a fantastic read.

Adolescence 2025
Deals with a heavy and relevant topic with great nuance and empathy. Stephen Graham and the rest of the cast are fantastic, each episode being one-shot was seamless and masterfully executed. All in all, it deserves all the praise it's getting.

The Wolf of Snow Hollow 2020
I'm in two minds about this film. Really loved the performances, cinematography, setting and the overall tone. I felt the story on the other hand didn't know what it wanted to be. The father daughter relationship, the whodunnit, the woman cop's arc are all important and interesting elements yet by the end none are given the justice they deserve (especially the whodunnit).

A really thoughtful and interesting film. Almodóvar draws from a range of ideas which don't quite link up in the way I was expecting. The final shot was genius and Banderas was fantastic also.
