Ash 2025
Ripping blinks of horror flash forward in bright, lurid light and are then gone—terrible memories seen by a woman alone on a space station. These special effects are great, and despite being somewhat derivative of older sci-fi classics, the whole film has a fresh, modern look and feel.

Queen of the Ring 2024
Based on real women wrestlers who were active in the 1950s and 1960s, this is an interesting slice of history that I knew nothing about. The most interesting part of the story is that the real fight was going on outside of the ring. That is, the fight to have a place in this male-dominated entertainment-sport.
