The Invisible Man (2020) is nothing short of phenomenal. Elizabeth Moss’ performance as Cecelia is one of the best performances in a horror movie I’ve ever seen, and definitely deserves an Oscar that she unfortunately wasn’t even nominated for. And this specific take on The Invisible Man is a fresh and unique take on a concept that has been around since 1897 ( great book btw ) and delivered a spectacular analogy for domestic abuse while giving a truly terrifying experience. 10/10, would absolutely recommend to anyone who is a fan of thrillers or looking for a fresh take on a classic story.

War of the Worlds 2005
Once again, Steven Spielberg has adapted an incredible book into a spectacular film. The War of the Worlds is a terrifying movie about Martians attacking planet Earth wielding massive Tripod robots with a heat ray that can instantly disintegrate anything it comes into contact with. The designs for both the Martians themselves and the Tripods they pilot are incredible, and horrifying. This is one of the best films I’ve ever seen. 10/10 would absolutely recommend

Claude Rains also gave an absolutely spectacular performance as Jack Griffin, The Invisible…

The Time Machine 2002
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The Time Machine ( 2002 ) is a surprisingly good film, loosely based on the HG Wells novel of the same name. I say loosely, and I mean very loosely, the story of the movie is not at all like that of the book ( at least as far as I know, I’m only halfway through the book at the time of writing this review. ) I do enjoy the movie, it’s a good story about a man desperate to…
