A journey from start to finish. I freaking love you Hong Kong… The adrenaline rush after this movie was so crazy I almost ran a stop sign. (just kidding… maybe) Can’t wait to watch it again as soon as I can.

Watched this at Sundance via online earlier this year. I was very happy to hear it got picked up for distribution a month later. Watched it again when it came out in theaters in August. Still hits the same. I love stories that revolve around first generation kids. I related so much to Didi missing social cues and the family’s dynamic. It’s crazy how we all have similar experiences despite whatever cultural background we have. The comedic approach just helps tend to those feelings, a movie I heavily appreciate for.
