  I think I would have connected with this movie more if it had featured an emotion I feel all the time—the small rush of satisfaction mingled with embarrassment when the cashier at Mickey’s Deli in Boston said “well if it isn’t Mr. Bagel and Lox” when I came in for the third day in a row to order bagel and lox in the fall of 2003.
