  A very gentle slice of war-time Americana, set  in a small Wisconsin farming village primarily inhabited by Norwegian immigrants and their descendants. The story is primarily told through the eyes of of a seven year old girl named Selma, who enjoys larking around the family farm with her main playmate - younger cousin Arnold.   I recently caught this film at a local film-fest and found it most entertaining. This documentary by Jim Jarmusch covers the very brief but influential career of Iggy and the Stooges, a band that came storming out of Michigan in the late 60's, and quickly flamed out in the early 70's.
