  Perfect nonsense fit for a fifth grade birthday party sleepover, which is, coincidentally, where I was first exposed to the eighth dimension. Too lazy to be a proper parody of the pulp fuel behind most of the big blockbusters of the late 70s/early 80s, and that’s where it derives its charm—we’re not really all that invested in what’s happening, we’re snapping our fingers along with the beat.

  Watched a bootleg copy with my in-laws where all the text was in Spanish and all the spoken dialogue during songs was in French and a couple times a guy yelled something in Portuguese. Also a couple times there was a laugh track added in? Anyway, I enjoyed that aspect of it.
