I’ve always been enchanted by monologues in movies. They’re moments that I’ve always internalized and at times try to mimic. I’ve always seen monologues as a moment when a character recognizes the opportunity of the moment and is able to take complete advantage of it. At that point they take as much time as they want, to say whatever they want, to whomever they want. They have complete control over all of it. But that’s not how it usually goes…
