Anora 2024
Yep, I see it. Roast me for falling for the post Oscar hype but I am so glad I saw this in theaters. Of the Oscar nominees I saw, this was my favorite. Start to finish this movie grips you and doesn't let go. Seriously, I can’t think of one pee break in this movie. Sean Baker, bravo.

A Complete Unknown 2024
Timothy Chalamet, while maybe a little too handsome to play Bob Dylan, absolutely nailed it. This movie absolutely flies by and makes you feel what a whirlwind his life was. In one scene Bob is a near broke songwriter, the very next he’s cashing a massive check and everybody knows who he is. Definitely one of the stronger biopics to come out and getting to see it with my parents was a huge plus.

LIGHT THE LAMP NOT THE RAT. On a bit of a Christmas movie kick and we continue that with the muppets. Some of their best work came in this movie. Sir Michael Caine just makes it all go round. Humbug.
