Spaceballs 1987
Maybe I'm blinded by nostalgia, but this is one of those films I can't comprehend people not liking. The comedy is pure 80s cheese (which I think lands 9 times out of 10) and the movie as a whole is pure camp. I would describe the film as charming, possibly a great stoner movie.

I love this stupid movie. It is BAD, but oh my god it's hilarious. Everything about this film is so lame and I honestly can't tell if some scenes are purposefully bad or not, but I was laughing regardless. 2 stars off because no Sawyers, very little Leatherface, and they absolutely butcher (and not in a good way) what made the original concept great by introducing the illuminati. Half a star back because Leatherface kind of serves in the sexy lady costume.

this movie scared the absolute shit out of me as a kid. i was pretty unphased by most horror but this made me scared to close my eyes for months.
it's not scary at all of course. the practical effects were good in a campy way.
