I respect the commitment to telling the story through first person perspective, it’s a hard one to pull off. Some scenes did inevitably stray towards videogame cut scene territory but these were by far the minority and on the whole it helped create what is a deeply affecting and tender film, full of beautiful imagery that felt like a direct portal into someone’s memories.
