Yearning
Growing up in Karachi and never having been to India, this film made me feel things only a film like this could, as it could have just as easily been Karachi. To me, Mumbai and Karachi seem like twins separated soon after birth. Still surviving the trauma, with glimmers of hope in the form of clandestine affairs, longing and defiance of what people would say.
