Princess Mononoke 1997
Had high expectations for this one as a lot of people rate it amongst the best of the studio Ghibli films but it never quite hit the same high points for me. The protagonist made frustrating decisions at times but the overall mystique and world building was excellent

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 2023
Honestly exceeded expectations. Some cool technology to make Indy look young in the flashback bits and I don't hate the schlocky Nazi villian plot as it's true to the earlier movies. Some good head nods throughout to earlier franchise moments as well

Napoleon 2023
Jumped around too much, would have been better served not trying to capture the whole life and instead focused on a smaller subset. Many historical inaccuracies but I'm happy to overlook for the purposes of good cinema. Retreat from Russia and battle of Waterloo felt anti-climactic and rushed rather than a fitting end for the complex figure
