Reflecting back on the year, Challengers might be the moviegoing experience I enjoyed the most. Different from what I may think the “best” movie is from a more objective point of view, there was something for me that just clicked. Amazing soundtrack, scenes dripping with tension, great performances, and an ending you can’t help but talk about as you leave the theater.

Leave the World Behind 2023
The first 2/3 or so, I was fully and completely IN for the ride. It doesn’t land the premise as satisfyingly or elegantly as I’d like, but there’s a lot of really beautifully managed tension and intrigue from the beginning.
