Compelling story, if a bit straight through. Nothing terribly novel, but well executed. Good pacing, good performances. Plays out like the better version of lifetime movies. Most of the jokes landed, which is very impressive for a foreign language film to still be funny in English. Speaking of, knocking points for the subtitles being a little atrocious. Especially heinous for a film with 5 or 6 spoken languages
