John Wick: Chapter 4 2023
An absolute blast to watch, had me on the edge of my seat to soak in all the details. Music was amazing, lovely surprise hearing Gesaffelstein. And the cinematography and general visual theme was one of the best yet, beautiful. Supporting cast was very strong as well (Nobody, Caine, Rina's character) and fun to see. Amazing action film.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
Absolutely beautiful, the art of course was amazing, and I loved how they used the style to differentiate different universes, while also borrowing from the drawn source material. Soooo stylistic. Voice acting was great, music phenomenal, very distinct motifs (is that what it's called?) for the different characters. Cliffhanger ending killed me a bit but I guess we're getting a new one soon. Story was great in that the multiverse stuff was chaotic but they still managed to focus on the core plot very well so it didn't feel overwhelming.
