Liked the feet. Like the action. Liked the direction. Kinda zoned out on the dialogue. Probably would have liked it if I was paying attention.

Whiplash 2014
I watched this on a flight, and I don’t think I sat back for a second watching this movie. The movie is always tense, especially with the through line of the song playing through Andrew’s head. The movie is cacophonous at times but really sinks you into the music. Miles Teller is great but JK Simmons of course is what defines this movie. A gripping and cathartic watch for me, sister found it hit to close to home.
