Suddenly have a craving to slam some bud heavies, buy a Ram pickup truck and study meteorology with the fellas.
Twisters is just a good old fashioned disaster blockbuster. A general audience summer crowd pleaser, for sure.
A lot of scenes missed for me and a lot of jokes went by without a laugh...but when this shit works, it WORKS. Cast is all one note but doing that one note well.

I wrote an entire thinkpiece here and did a full review tiktok video on this one already, so all I'll say is that Furiosa remains a fucking masterpiece.
The world failed this movie, which is shocking, because it's a massive, beautiful, crowd pleasing action epic with incredible pacing with ties to the odyssey...all led by movie stars and incredible performances that should be celebrated.
It's everything we should all love...but it's just forgotten.
Award season won't praise this movie... but I'll never stop.
