The show followed the classic marvel/Star Wars Disney+ show formula and ultimately suffered because of it. To many scenes and moments which are irrelevant to the story and detract from the narrative.
The main story of the show (Leia) is really the only arc that propels the story forward. Having Leia be then captured by Reva and having to be reduced again was 1. Too long. 2. Just unnecessary. 3. Was the same arc we had just watched. The story…

WOW! Just a brutal and bloody tale.
A beautifully shot film that made the most of every frame, with excellent attention to detail. Phenomenal acting across the board, particularly Alexander Skarsgard and Nicole Kidman.
The story was simple and didn’t bite into the Hollywood trope of large scale battles but rather kept the fighting intense and intimate. The Norse mythology sprinkled throughout the film was excellent and really captured the beliefs of the Vikings, particularly regarding Valhalla.
Some of the scenes and writing are slow and quite boring, however the attention to detail from Eggers and the acting was enough to keep it engaging.Translated from by
