This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Some damn good actors in this film.
However, all of their talent could not save this, confusing, poorly scripted, awful special effects, poorly paced, boring and down right irritating fud of a movie.
It’s neither jump scare or scary, thrilling or thriller - it’s just bad. It’s not a horror but it is horrific.
At the end, there’s no real reason why the movie happened, there’s just a strange cessation.

Trap delivers a critique of social media and faux celebrity heroes while challenging the Dad hero stereotype too. It’s not Fight Club levels of disdain but there is a running parody and dislike present throughout.
Subtly claustrophobic and breath holdingly tense. It’s good!
Dare we call the main character an anti-hero? Certainly he does confuse your moral centre and conflict your parental politics.
This film is stylish without detracting from substance. The pace is simply perfection and the directing…
