Halloween 2018
They got the Shape right on this one! The suspense was fantastic. The kills weren’t gratuitous, they had weight and the story added a lot of depth to the characters and the over all mythos. Judy Greer is the best! Her husband in this (Toby Huss) did Kahn’s voice on King of the Hill. Jamie Lee Curtis brought so much more to Laurie’s character than I was expecting. When love comes together with craft, you get something like this. Bravo!

Fun. Leaning a little too much on the Rob Zombie take of the Shape, for my taste (It’s Michael Myers, not Jason). A pretty major let down, considering how great the previous installment was. I’m sad that Judy Greer’s character died. Still, it was ambitious as all get out and the kills were great. All in all, a fine addition to the franchise. I’m sure they’ll stop makin’ em when we stop watching…
