  It’s a movie that openly admits that it coerced its creators to make it in favor of corporate, creatively inorganic pursuits. Flashing a middle finger at your payrollers doesn’t make a movie that shouldn’t exist interesting. Also: pretty meh action sequences?

  I still think this is the most brutal movie ever made. It’s quiet and tragic and simultaneously airbrush 1970s van art D&D excess. I adore this film so much and totally saw it when I was seven.
