  Barry Keoghan is class as a wee creep in this but apart from some well shot scenes with operatic music this is a steaming pile a nonsense. Nothing was explained wee Barry just somehow has all these powers (can only guess he’s hypnotised people) but all of the characters just act strangely and make odd choices throughout and I have no idea why this films so acclaimed. I do like the way it’s shot and some of the dialogue but some of its actual straight out the mind of a nutter I hope the director Yorgos gets the help he needs.

  How the hell did it get so out of hand? So many times sat there hoping one doesn’t retaliate but then there’d be no more beef. Ends up getting incredibly deep and profound which I didn’t see coming. Definitely up there in terms of writing, at no point does it ever get too far-fetched; it manages to always stay just grounded enough - 5/5
