    Genuinely funny and a refreshingly good take on the “buddy comedy” sub-genre. Following two best friends on their day-long adventure to recover their stolen rent money, the audience is taken for a joyride exploring not only the hijinks experienced by the pair as they traverse their LA neighborhood, but also the undeniable chemistry and personal development shared between them. While certainly still a comedy, at its heart, the film dedicates its emotional weight to highlighting Black sisterhood - its joy, its challenges, and everything in between.
