The highest compliment I can give this movie is that when I walked out of the theater I unironically said “that may have been the best movie I’ve ever seen” and immediately made plans to go see it in a bigger theater later that week. 5/5 no notes

Fly Me to the Moon 2024
Scar Jo did the absolute most to make this a quite enjoyable Saturday night flick, while Channing Tatum felt like he graduated his 22 Jump Street character from university straight into a NASA internship. If he played the role differently, or they brought in a slightly more serious actor, this could have easily been a 3.5 or 4. Soph gave it a 4 as is!
Best part of the movie was when they were in a plane cockpit and it made me think about Top Gun Maverick and how great the flight scenes were. Top Gun Maverick, what a movie. 5 stars!Translated from by -
