I don’t know too much about gundam besides a few episodes of one of the 70s shows but I thought Gquuuuuux was fucking awesome. Felt like a really good blend of retro gundam and modern mecha sensibilities. Then it ended right when it got interesting and I was very disappointed. Gorgeous movie though and I guess I have a tv show to look forward to?

Chungking Express 1994
I watched this again flying back from Japan the other day and I realized I never wrote a review on here. Love this film, both halves are great but the second half with Tony Leung and the amazing Faye Wong I think is what most people like more (wish the first half was fleshed out a bit more). Love love love the visuals in this one... the second cop's apartment with the escalator right out of view outside, all the choppy editing in the first half and all the cityscapes.
