Definitely too long but i had a lot of fun!!! I love it when movies have massive budgets and can do crazy shit like this. also Diego calva is kinda beautiful

I think i understand the general structure of all this and i cant say im like the biggest fan. The aesthetics and sense of dread throughout the movie work really well — very evocative of dream logic (ie knowing things without knowing how/why, people/places from reality presenting themselves in odd/inaccurate ways, very specific objects or manifestations of other things that don’t make sense, etc.) but I was exhausted after the first two hours from merely trying to figure out wtf…
